Printable Cards for Charity

Bit short notice I know (just unearthed the sponsor form from pile of ‘recycling’) but am doing a Midnight Walk on Saturday in aid of Saint Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate. All profits (£2.50) from my pick and mix printable cards to the charity. Available through Folksy and Etsy sites. 12 designs to choose from.

One Day Sale on Dawanda

Well, the header’s said it all really: there’s a one day 11% discount sale on Art and Accessories today on Dawanda, tenuously in celebration of the World Cup. Ha!  Relevence? Anyway, nothing to complain about. I’ve included my prints, in celebration of those who are NOT interested in the World Cup so far but will probably start getting into it by the semi-finals. Happens every time.

Sugar Spun Sister(hood)

100% designer-maker shopping experience!

I’ll be here, with more cards and prints than a Paperchase warehouse. The previous fairs have been great. There’s a touch of the vintage bonanza about the whole affair. Catered by The Marvellous Tea Dance Company. And yes, the cakes are indeed Marvellous.

Vintage Bazaar: Summer 2010 Ilkley, West Yorkshire

Ilkley vintage bazaar is on June 19. Its always a little bit special, since there’s a vintage style tea party thrown in as well (I recommend the Guinness and  chocolate cake with cream cheese icing btw). Here’s the blurb: 1900 to 1980 vintage furniture, fashion, textiles, hats, jewellery, bags, recycled homewares, quilts.

100% Handmade Designer-maker Fair // Ilkley // March 20th

I’ll be at ‘100% handmade’ in March. Vintage tea party. cakes. coffee. bunting. music… oh, and lots of talented people ‘doing it for themselves’. lovely town too. wild moors, wide river, elegant promenades.

Leeds Vintage Fashion Fair: Feb 2010

Perhaps followed by the Cupcake Challenge at Mojos, discovered courtesy of Ruthie Macall… Sam and Sally, who run the fairs, have also started a designer-maker event called 100% Handmade. There’s going to be another in the pretty tourist town of Ilkley on March 20th. The last one was fab. Vintage style tea and cakes, music bunting and plenty of people: like something straight of out Darling Buds in May!

Fairytale of New York

apparently some of my illustrative stationery designs (which I don’t think I can show you) are now at the New York International Gift Fair, which is very exciting and a first for me. I’ve never been to New York but my digital creations have. Lucky virtual bastards.

Love craft? Live Yorkshire?

I was contacted by Amy Knowles of Barnsley Civic Gallery about being a stallholder at the new LOVE CRAFT fair. If you’re interested in a table contact email amyelizabethknowles@gmail.com or phone the Civic on 01226 327011, no later than Valentine’s Day. The tables are FREE! (“all we ask is that your work is completely handmade or your own design, high quality and presented in a visually exciting way”).
